This was another item that was only featured for a few seconds, but I thought it was cute, so I needed to have it.
Availability and Price
I think I’ve seen this item on Depop more often than anywhere else, so that’s the place I would suggest you should look first. It’s not exactly rare, but not it’s not common either. This one mainly just takes a bit of patience to pop up in the right size. In recent months, I’ve also seen it pop up on eBay, but when it is listed as a cosplay item, it usually costs a little more than it would on Depop.
As for the price, it’s one of Clara’s more affordable items and usually sells for £7 – £20, depending on whether the seller is a cosplay muggle or not, but like I said, the price on eBay can go a little further up.
Materials and Fit
The fabric (100% viscose) is really light and I just think the pattern and colours are adorable. Very soft and feminine. In the past two years, it has sort of become the fashion to make more shirts button up in the back, but I think back when it was released, it was a little less common to do so. Topshop clothes, especially the ones worn by Clara, often run quite small, but this blouse is a bit of an exception and runs true to size. The only problem I have with my UK6 is that it’s a little short, so I usually combine it with high-waist trousers when I wear it outside of cosplay photos. However, if your bust is a little larger or you have broad shoulders, I would stick to the regular size or go a size up.
It makes me a little sad that this item never got more screen time because I think it looks gorgeous on Clara and it’s an adorable blouse in general, so I would have loved to see more of it. I’m also kind of ashamed to admit that it took me almost a year to actually take some photos in it for my cosplay account on Instagram even though I had previously worn it to work. Even outside of cosplay, this blouse is a cute addition to your office or casual outfit.
