This gorgeous coat came into my possession sort of by accident. I was browsing Vinted for something else entirely when I found it at a nice price and I simply couldn’t resist.

The original retail price of this coat was over £300, so I never expected to find it for just £35 but I did. It seemed to be my lucky day because even though I have seen more of this coat on Vinted and eBay, they were all either more expensive than that or in bad shape. My coat was sold by a fashion blogger and I don’t think she had ever actually worn it because it really looked brand new when I received it. If you’re looking for it, keep your eyes on eBay, Depop and Vinted and I’m sure it’ll pop up one day, but look closely at the photos. In my experience, jackets and coats usually rip in the lining under the sleeves first and I have seen some of these ones with that particular damage before.

Sizing and Care

The coat itself runs true to size. I got mine in a size XS which is my regular coat size and it fits me very well. However, if your shoulders are a little broader, I’d advise you to size up. It closes with one button at the front. Sadly, I can’t tell you what material it is made of. Mine still has the label on it, but it doesn’t say anything about materials or how to care for it. I machine-washed it once at a low temperature and it came out fine, but if you’re in doubt, always hand-wash.

The coat itself isn’t particularly warm. It’s definitely not meant for winter temperatures and I wouldn’t wear it if temperatures drop below 10 degrees. It’s made out of a blazer-like material, so it’s more suitable for spring and autumn.

It really is a lovely and very elegant coat that can either spice up a simple outfit or go with your evening wear. The pockets are quite large and can fit bigger smartphones (Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and S9 Plus) effortlessly, which is always a bonus because I’m a lazy person who doesn’t like to take a bag when going to the supermarket. The coat even has an inside pocket on one side. Whenever I’ve worn the coat so far, I’ve always received compliments for it because it really is a special look and eye-catcher.

I really love this coat even though I wish it was just a tiny bit warmer so I could wear it more often, but for a spring and autumn coat, it is absolutely perfect.
